Auxiliary Phase Single Phase Motors

The auxiliary phase single-phase electric motor admits reversibility when the auxiliary winding terminals are removed with connecting cables. They are currently manufactured for power from 1/6 to 2CV. These types of electric motors can be with two, four, or six output terminals. Two-pole motors operate at 110V or 220V voltage and in one direction of rotation. The four-way terminals are for 110V or 220V voltage and have two directions of rotation carter sfh40a , determined according to the connection between main and auxiliary winding. In general, the terminals of the main winding are designated by numbers 1 and 2 and those of the auxiliary winding by 3 and 4. To reverse the direction of rotation, it is necessary to reverse the direction of the winding of the auxiliary winding, .

The six-terminal motors are built for 110V and 220V voltages and are for two directions of rotation. To reverse the direction of rotation, reverse the direction of the current in the auxiliary winding. The main winding is designated by the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 and the auxiliary winding by 5 and 6. To reverse the direction of rotation, change terminal 5 at 6.
